The Harvest Drive

Where our village shares what we have so mothers receive what they need.

Welcome to The Harvest Drive, the giving arm of The Village.
Here, we gather the tangible resources that help mothers feel supported—warm clothing, comfort items, postpartum supplies, menstrual care, baby essentials, and gift cards. Everything collected through The Harvest Drive goes directly to mothers in our community who need extra support.

This is mutual aid.
This is community care.
This is how we rebuild the village.

Most items may be new or gently used, clean, and in excellent condition.
Items that must be new and unopened (like hygiene products) are noted within each campaign.

Generally, we collect:

  • New or gently used clothing for women

  • Postpartum and baby essentials

  • Menstrual products (new/unopened)

  • Maternity and nursing clothing

  • Comfort items like blankets, socks, journals

  • Gift cards (groceries, gas, Target, Walmart, Amazon)

  • Seasonal items that meet specific needs

Current Campaign: Warmth for Mothers Coat Drive

Because mothers deserve warmth, comfort, and dignity this winter.

As temperatures drop, our Harvest Drive shifts its focus to protecting the women who so often put themselves last. Mothers frequently make sure their children are bundled up while they head into the cold with thin jackets or worn-out layers.

This campaign centers mothers themselves, their warmth, their comfort, and their well-being.

What we’re collecting right now:

Most items may be new or gently used, clean, and in excellent condition.

Accepting:

  • Winter coats (all sizes)

  • Maternity coats and jackets

  • Warm sweaters, hoodies, and zip-ups

  • Cozy socks

  • Scarves, gloves, and hats

  • Soft blankets and throws

  • Nursing-friendly layers

New/unopened only:

  • Hand warmers

  • Lip balm

  • Unscented lotion

  • Small winter comfort items

These will be distributed directly to mothers in our community (Wilmington and surrounding areas).

How to Give

Email or text and we will arrange time and place for drop off, or we can come to you for pick up (within 5 miles of 19803).
