  • Annual GYN Exam 75 minutes — $175

Your annual exam at Matricentric Health & Well Care is so much more than a quick pelvic exam. This visit is a full, comprehensive review of your health — physical, emotional, and reproductive. Together, we’ll talk through your menstrual cycle, hormones, mood, energy, sleep, libido, nutrition, stress, and overall wellbeing.

Each visit is personalized to your unique needs and may include a pelvic exam, Pap smear, breast exam, or STI testing only if you’re due or if there are specific concerns. You’ll never be pressured into unnecessary exams or testing, we’ll decide together based on current screening guidelines and your comfort level. We practice trauma-informed care that ensures you are always in charge of your body, fully informed, and empowered to make decisions that feel right for you.

We designed this visit with comfort as a top priority. Our gowns are beautiful and cozy (NO hospital or paper gowns ever), the lighting is soft and warm (no bright fluorescent lights), exams are done without stirrups (though they are available for those who prefer using them), and we only use Nella speculums, which are the only speculum designed for patient comfort.

You’ll also receive education on women’s health and preventive care, including when to screen for cervical cancer, breast cancer, and osteoporosis, as well as guidance on general wellness labs such as cholesterol, thyroid, vitamin levels, and diabetes screening.

This visit is designed to empower you with knowledge about your body and to give you space to ask questions — not rush you through them. You’ll leave understanding what’s happening in your health and why each recommendation matters.

(Lab costs for Pap smears and preventive bloodwork are billed separately and can be submitted to insurance.)

  • STI Testing 30 minutes — $95

Confidential testing, results review, and treatment & or prevention guidance. Covers vaginal infections, STI screening, and ongoing sexual wellness support at any life stage.

  • Birth Control Consultation & Prescription 45 minutes — $95

A judgment-free, evidence-based visit to explore your contraceptive options. Includes counseling and prescriptions for pills, patch, ring, injection, or fertility awareness methods. (IUD and Nexplanon insertions are not offered, but we can refer you to a location for insertion.)

  • Sexual Health Visit 60 minutes — $160

This visit is a safe, judgment-free space to talk openly about your sexual health and wellbeing. Whether you’re experiencing pain with sex, low desire, arousal concerns, vaginal dryness, difficulty reaching orgasm, or changes related to postpartum, perimenopause, or medication — this is where we start the conversation.

We’ll explore physical, hormonal, emotional, and relational factors that may be affecting your sexual wellness, and together we’ll create a personalized plan to help you feel more comfortable, confident, and connected in your body.

This visit may include an exam, lab work, or medication management if needed, but always at your pace and with your full consent. All care is trauma-informed and collaborative, you are always in control of what happens, and nothing is ever done without your understanding and permission.

Sexual health is an essential part of overall health. Here, it’s treated that way — with compassion, education, and the belief that pleasure, comfort, and confidence are not luxuries, but your birthright.

  • Problem Visit 30-60 minutes $100— $150

(time and cost are determined by problem, pricing will be discussed before scheduling)

Whether you’re experiencing irregular periods, vaginal itching, pelvic discomfort, breast lump or changes, or other gynecologic concerns, this visit is designed to get to the root of what’s happening, not just write a quick prescription and move on.

We’ll take the time to talk through your symptoms, your history, and the context of your life, because your body never exists in isolation. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels both effective and aligned with your values, which may include lab testing, imaging, treatment, or referrals if needed.

All care is provided through a trauma-informed, consent-based approach, meaning you are always in control of your body and your choices. You’ll know exactly what each step involves, and nothing is ever done without your full understanding and permission.

This visit is a safe, respectful space to ask questions, find answers, and leave feeling supported, not dismissed.

  • Teen/Young Adult First GYN Visit 60 minutes — $150

Your first GYN visit should never be rushed, scary, or awkward, and it definitely shouldn’t start with a pelvic exam. This visit is designed for teens and young adults who are ready to learn about their bodies, their health, and what to expect in future women’s health visits.

We focus on education, empowerment, and body autonomy, not procedures. Together, we’ll cover what a GYN visit includes (and what it doesn’t), menstrual health, cycle tracking, body changes, consent, contraception options, and how to advocate for yourself in medical settings.

Pelvic exams are rarely needed for teens and almost never part of a routine annual visit. If any exam or testing is ever considered, it’s discussed thoroughly and done only with your full understanding and consent. You are always in charge of your body here.

This visit helps build comfort, confidence, and trust — creating a foundation for a lifetime of positive, informed healthcare experiences. You’ll leave knowing what to expect, what questions to ask, and how to make choices that feel right for you.

  • Fertility Counseling/ Preconception Visit 75 minutes - $175

Whether you’re actively trying to conceive or simply planning ahead, this visit provides evidence-based, holistic fertility support rooted in the midwifery model of care. Together, we’ll review your health history, menstrual patterns, labs, and lifestyle factors that may influence fertility. You’ll leave with personalized guidance on optimizing conception naturally — from timing and cycle tracking to nutrition, supplements, and emotional well-being — and a clear plan for next steps.

This is care that centers you — not just your ovaries. We focus on understanding your body, empowering informed choices, and honoring the emotional side of the fertility journey.m description

  • Early Pregnancy Visit 75 minutes — $175

Finding out you’re pregnant often comes with excitement, uncertainty, questions, and worry, yet many people are told to wait weeks before they can be seen.

An Early Pregnancy Visit is designed to provide timely reassurance, clear information, and support during the earliest part of pregnancy, without waiting or guessing. This visit offers space to talk through what you’re experiencing, what’s normal, what’s not, and what comes next, with education and guidance grounded in midwifery-informed, evidence-based care. This visit is education-centered and supportive and may be accessed regardless of where you plan to receive ongoing prenatal care. This visit can be scheduled anytime in the first trimester (up to 13 weeks).

    What This Visit Includes

    • Prescription for an early dating and viability ultrasound, when appropriate

    • First-trimester education and anticipatory guidance

    • Discussion of symptoms, concerns, and common questions

    • Time to ask questions and receive clear, thoughtful answers

  • A Mother–Daughter/ Parent–Child First Period Education Visit
    75 minutes — $150

Let’s make the first period something to celebrate, not something to fear. This visit is a gentle, educational, and empowering way for parents and their children to learn about puberty and menstruation together — so everyone feels calm, confident, and prepared for what’s ahead.

We’ll talk about what’s normal (and what’s not), what to expect before and during a first period, and how to care for the body during menstrual cycles. We’ll cover everything from period products and hygiene to emotional changes, cycle tracking, and body literacy — all in an age-appropriate, supportive environment.

This visit is rooted in education, body autonomy, and empowerment. The goal is to normalize menstruation as a healthy, natural part of life and to create open, shame-free dialogue between parent and child.

Together, we’ll help young people feel proud of their growing bodies and prepared for this new chapter — turning what could be an awkward milestone into a meaningful moment of connection, confidence, and celebration.

*This visit can be done in person in our Delaware office, or virtually. We also offer group-visits- please contact for pricing for groups.

Postpartum Support

  • 75 minutes

    $175 Coaching | $225 Clinical (DE only)

Because postpartum deserves more than just one 6-week visit and recovery and adjustment do not end at 6 weeks.

This visit exists for the many mothers who feel like postpartum care ended before they were actually supported.

    It is especially helpful for:

    • Mothers who did not feel heard or supported by their pregnancy or birth provider

    • Mothers who left their 6 week visit feeling like it was rushed, surface level, or unhelpful

    • Mothers who chose a free birth and would like thoughtful postpartum follow up

    • Mothers who want more than a single clearance visit and prefer ongoing, person centered care

    • Mothers noticing new questions or challenges weeks or months later

    • Mothers who simply want time and space to talk through what is happening in their bodies and lives

This visit can be scheduled anytime after day 4 postpartum and at any point in the first year or beyond. Many needs do not appear right away, and you are not late to receive care.

    During this visit we review:

    • Physical recovery and any new or lingering symptoms

    • Energy, sleep, and the realities of daily life with a baby

    • Emotional shifts that often emerge after the early weeks

    • Feeding transitions, weaning, or return of menstrual cycles

    • Questions you did not know to ask earlier

    • What is typical, what deserves support, and what may need further evaluation

    Coaching vs Clinical Care

    Coaching Visit
Available to mothers anywhere in the United States or internationally.
Focuses on education, recovery support, guidance, and helping you understand what you are experiencing. Coaching does not diagnose or treat medical conditions but helps you navigate postpartum with informed, individualized support.

    Clinical Visit (Delaware Only)
Available to clients physically located in Delaware.
Includes clinical assessment, medical evaluation when appropriate, and the ability to diagnose, order testing, or prescribe if needed.

    Clinical visits are offered:

    • In office

    • In home within New Castle County

    • Virtually for Delaware residents

  • When exhaustion feels deeper than just being a new parent.

Many mothers are told fatigue is simply part of having a baby. Sometimes it is. Sometimes there are layered contributors that deserve a closer look.

This visit steps back to assess the full picture of recovery, nourishment, and physical rebuilding after pregnancy and birth.

    We review:

    • Energy patterns, sleep realities, and daily load

    • Nutritional rebuilding and realistic ways to support recovery

    • Physical healing and signs the body may need more support

    • Hormonal transitions that influence mood, cycles, and stamina

    • The concept of postpartum depletion and why it is common

    • Practical strategies to rebuild rather than “push through”

Clinical visits may include appropriate evaluation or labs when indicated. Coaching visits focus on education, lifestyle, and recovery support.

    Sex after baby is different.

This visit provides honest education and support around how bodies, desire, comfort, and identity shift after birth. Most mothers receive clearance for sex without any real guidance. This fills that gap.

    We talk about:

    • Physical changes that affect comfort, lubrication, and sensation

    • Desire changes and why they are common in motherhood

    • Emotional readiness, not just physical healing

    • How mental load and fatigue influence intimacy

    • Ways to reconnect with your body without pressure

    • When symptoms should be evaluated further

    • Practical tools for easing back into intimacy at your own pace

Clinical visits may include assessment and treatment options when appropriate. Coaching visits focus on education, normalization, and guided strategies.

  • 75 minutes
    Investment: $175

Because the transition is not just bringing home the baby. It is building a new life around them.

This visit supports mothers navigating major shifts such as returning to work, establishing routines, or adjusting to a later stage of motherhood when expectations and reality collide.

    We focus on:

    • Returning to work and redefining balance without guilt language

    • Creating sustainable routines for your actual life

    • Managing the invisible load of motherhood transitions

    • Navigating childcare, partnership shifts, and time ownership

    • Letting go of unrealistic standards and building what works

    • Planning forward instead of reacting constantly

This is practical, forward looking support rooted in navigating the real life demands of life after baby

  • 75 minutes | $175

Matrescence is the psychological, emotional, relational, and identity transformation that happens when we become mothers. Most people are never taught this language, which can make normal changes feel confusing or isolating.

This consultation helps you understand what is happening internally so you can move through it with more clarity and less self-blame.

    Together we explore:

    • Identity changes and the feeling of becoming someone new

    • The emotional complexity of loving motherhood and struggling in it

    • Shifts in relationships, priorities, and sense of self

    • Cultural pressures that shape how mothers think they “should” feel

    • How matrescence unfolds over years, not weeks

This is educational, reflective, and grounding support rather than therapy.

Motherhood, Menopause,

& Sexual Health Support

  • Matrescence and Motherhood Coaching 75 minutes Cost $175/session or $600/pack of 4 sessions

Coaching that supports mothers at any stage of their journey as they navigate the complex physical, emotional, and societal transitions of becoming and being a mother. Together, we’ll explore identity shifts, maternal guilt and shame, societal pressures, and the influence of patriarchal motherhood. This coaching helps you process the push and pull of becoming a mother, reclaim your personal power, and find balance between your own needs and societal expectations. We’ll create actionable strategies to help you feel empowered and confident in your evolving role.

  • Mental Load Coaching FOUR 75 minute sessions Cost $175/session or $600/pack of 4 sessions

Feeling overwhelmed by the constant juggling of household tasks, caregiving, and daily responsibilities? The mental load often falls disproportionately on mothers, creating stress and imbalance. Using my extensive training on managing the mental load, including trainings with Dr. Sophie Brock, Chelsea Robinson, and certification as a Fair Play Facilitator, I will help you regain control and foster equity in your household. Together, we’ll use a proven system to distribute responsibilities more fairly, freeing up your time and energy. You deserve a partnership where household tasks are shared, and you can focus on what truly matters, your well-being and family.

  • Sexual Wellness Coaching 75 minute sessions Cost $175/session or $600/pack of 4 sessions

Motherhood transforms your body, your relationships, and your sense of self. Whether you’re navigating postpartum changes, feeling disconnected in the chaos of parenting, or entering perimenopause, your sexual health deserves care and attention. With my background in midwifery, women’s health, and sexual wellness, I help you explore what’s changed, understand why, and reconnect with your body and pleasure on your own terms. Together, we’ll address both the physical and emotional aspects of sexual wellbeing, so you can rebuild confidence, deepen intimacy, and reclaim desire in this season of motherhood and beyond.

  • Menopause in Motherhood Coaching 75 minute session Cost $175/session or $600/pack of 4 sessions

Menopause is more than a hormonal shift, it’s a whole-body, whole-life transition that reshapes your identity, energy, relationships, and how you experience motherhood. For many, it arrives right as you’re balancing parenting, careers, and caregiving, leaving little space to tend to your own needs.

This coaching provides that space. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening in your body, understand what’s normal (and what’s not), and connect how stress, sleep, emotions, and daily demands influence this stage of life. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your body, the language to advocate for yourself in medical settings, and guidance for finding the right menopause-informed provider.

Because menopause in motherhood is different, and you deserve care that honors your evolution, not just your hormones.

This is an educational and supportive coaching experience, not clinical care. If you’re seeking personalized menopause medical care or hormone therapy, please see the REWILD Program .

Why We Don’t Accept Insurance

Matricentric Health & Well Care is a direct-pay, out-of-network practice, which means we do not bill insurance companies for visits. This model allows me to give you the kind of care that traditional insurance-based systems simply don’t make possible: longer visits, personalized attention, and care that actually centers you.

Insurance-based healthcare is built on volume and speed for maximizing profit. Providers are often forced to see patients in 10–15 minute blocks and spend more time documenting than connecting. That’s not real care. Here, you’ll have time to talk, to ask questions, to feel heard, and to receive care that’s tailored to your whole experience, not just your chart.

By choosing a direct-pay model, you’re investing in yourself and in care that prioritizes quality over quotas. It also means no surprise bills, no waiting for approvals, and no fighting with insurance to cover what’s necessary.

For clients with out-of-network insurance benefits, I can provide a superbill after your appointment. You can submit it to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Every plan is different, and while I can’t guarantee any specific reimbursement amount, many clients receive partial repayment depending on their coverage.

This model also benefits those who are uninsured, self-employed, or who’ve recently lost ACA coverage, because pricing is clear and transparent. You’ll know exactly what each visit costs before you arrive, and you’ll never be billed for unexpected fees or hidden charges. This model also benefits those who are uninsured, self-employed, or who’ve recently lost ACA coverage, because pricing is clear and transparent. You’ll know exactly what each visit costs before you arrive, and you’ll never be billed for unexpected fees or hidden charges.

For labs, imaging, and many medications, I can also help you access them at drastically reduced costs, ensuring that high-quality, holistic care stays accessible and affordable (this is also good for people with high-deductible insurance plans!)

At its core, this is healthcare that values your time, your body, and your motherhood — not corporate profit. Because you deserve care that listens first, heals deeply, and honors your experience as more than a diagnosis or a billing code.

Our pricing is less than the majority of Delaware OBGYN offices and Women’s Health offices (we know because we called offices throughout the state). Some office will not even see patients without insurance! The standard visit time for an Annual GYN exam in a an insurance-based practice is 15-30 minutes. This is insulting to women everywhere. Our Annual GYN visits are 75 minutes long.

No One Turned Away
I believe everyone deserves access to compassionate, high-quality care—regardless of financial situation. If you’re in need of care but facing financial hardship, please reach out. I’ll always do my best to find a solution that supports you, whether that means adjusted pricing, payment options, or connecting you with resources that can help.

“If you want to change the world, start by supporting the mothers …

because when mothers thrive, families, communities, and entire societies thrive.”
