Our culture tells mothers to shrink as they age, to be quieter, smaller, more “grateful.” It tells us that perimenopause is a problem to fix instead of a threshold to honor. REWILD calls bullshit on all of it. Like land that’s been over-managed until it forgets how to bloom, mothers, too, are pushed to tame their instincts, to stay productive, polite, contained, selfless.
